This laser is used for skin resurfacing and offers less pain and a faster healing time than other resurfacing lasers. It is used to decrease wrinkles and sunspots on the face, neck and hands. Patients can be treated in the office with this laser using only a topical anesthesia. Healing varies with the depth of treatment and can be in days or about a week. Typically, the procedure is repeated 2-4 times spaced 4-6 weeks apart. However, it can be performed as a single treatment.
